What our customers say..
"Had such a great time on my first ever ski holiday that it has made me want to do it again. All interaction with staff added value to our holiday and enhanced the time and experiences! A real pleasure!"
Mrs L Litster, January 2008
Chalet Founets is a beautiful, character-filled chalet which exudes a feeling of space with its high ceilings and vaulted beams. Owned by a famous Parisian architect, the chalet features plenty of quirky local knickknacks to make this feel like home from home. The views are truly stunning and can be enjoyed from the sitting and dining areas which boast large windows and a beautiful wooden balcony.
The chalet is a perfect choice for families and for those planning on enjoying long lazy evenings in, curled up by the roaring log fire after your indulgent four-course meal. The gallery floor hides a quiet television area where the children can entertain themselves, giving you time to yourselves to chat about the day’s skiing antics or to enjoy a good book.
This chalet is in the most sought after area in Courchevel, beside the Bellecote piste opposite the Bergerie restaurant, an idyllic spot for an après-ski vin chaud or a warming hot chocolate.
In the morning you’ll only have to stroll a few steps in your warm boots on to the snow which makes for a very gentle and leisurely start to the day. This easy green run leads down to the Croisette where the ski schools meet and the main lifts take you to the vast ski area of Les Trois Vallées.
Every room in this deluxe chalet has either ensuite or dedicated facilities and each twin bedded room has all of the little luxuries that you’d expect. To add to the luxury, Founets has a relaxing Hammam with a jet shower for easing those aches and pains as you find your ski legs again!
Focusing on the fantastic local French ingredients your food is prepared by our experienced chalet host who will indulge you with delectable gourmet delights such as handmade chocolates after your mouth-watering 4 course dinner.
Remember with Supertravel the possibilities are endless – a vintage wine upgrade, ski guide or an inchalet massage, the choice is yours.
